Lovely 1960 Chapman 550 10ft Light Carp Rod. This is a great example of this classic Chapman rod. With a test curve of 1 1/2 lbs its very light by modern standards, but is a superb rod for some general retro style fishing. Paired with a Mitchell 300 this rod will provide some fantastic fishing experiences. Comes with what I believe is the original bag.

"THE CARP"
This rod, designed to catch the most
difficult of all fish, has to be capable of
casting the lightest of weights considerable distances. The action must he easy
and suitable for a light swing cast. as
many of the baits used in Carp fishing are
soft in nature and would readily part
company with the hook if the cast is at
all jerky. The rod at the same time must
be capable of checking and playing a
